EV Charger Rebate

Central Coast residents can take advantage of the Electrify Your Ride program offered by Central Coast Communities Energy (3CE) and receive up to $2,400 back for a Level 2 charger and installation. This rebate does not require you to currently own an EV but allows you to be “Electrification Ready” for a future purchase.
Once approved, applicants receive their rebate reimbursement within 45 days meaning the entire EV charger and installation costs close to nothing out of pocket! In some instances, extra conduit distance, main panel upgrades or subpanel installations may accrue additional costs which would be disclosed ahead of time. Permitting and design fees vary depending on your local building department and will be added to your overall quote.
Residential EV Charger Rebate
Already own an EV? Great! Photon Brothers will install a Level 2 charger (either a Tesla Wall Connector or J‑1772) that is compatible with your car. If you have already purchased your EV charger our team can assist you with receiving a rebate for it.
Get electrification ready! If you are planning for the future and don’t know which electric vehicle you will be purchasing, Photon Brothers will install a universal EV charger compatible with both Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles.
Rebate Amount:
- Level 2 Charger: $400
- Wiring & installation (including up to 50 feet of conduit run): $2,000
There are additional low-income qualifications that could receive a higher rebate, please check your eligibility and let one of our team members know if you qualify.
Permitting and design fees vary depending on your local building department and will be added to your overall quote. A team member will disclose any additional costs upfront.
